Primary mean of publication for computing research, are conference proceedings. Many conferences organized by ACM (e.g., CHI, UbiComp, UIST, CSCW, IUI, ASSETS, etc.) and IEEE (e.g., ISMAR, IEEE VR etc.) are considered top publication venues for human-computer interaction.
